A+ Program

INTRODUCTION

In the fall of 2007, the Gasconade County R-I School District began the process to be designated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an A+ School.  To become designated as an A+ School, HHS had to take steps to reduce the dropout rate, raise academic expectations, provide career pathways, and work with business and educational leaders to prepare students for their lives after graduation.  Hermann High School was designated during the 2009-2010 school year.  This book will provide you a guide to A+ eligibility.

GOALS OF THE A+ PROGRAM

The three major goals of the A+ Program are:

  1. All students will graduate from high school.
  2. All students complete high school studies that are challenging and that have identified learner expectations.
